I WAS among the over 72,000 spectators at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on May 28 to watch Manchester United play a friendly match against the Asean All-Stars team.

I had a horrible experience with the crowd control system during the AR Rahman concert at the same venue on Jan 28, 2023 and had vowed never to go there again. The system back then was far short of international standards.
