IN view of the continued public outcry surrounding the MyKiosk 2.0 issue coupled by the fact that the Cabinet has yet to convene a meeting to deliberate on the matter, I am compelled to speak out on this issue. The Madani government needs to address questions about the MyKiosk issue that has stirred growing frustration among the rakyat.
Launched with the noble aim of supporting small traders and the B40 group, MyKiosk was supposed to be a lifeline for those striving to make an honest living. Instead, it has become a symbol of mismanagement, lack of transparency, and wasted public funds. Originally intended as a rakyat-centric programme, the initiative has now become embroiled in controversy, characterised by phantom applicants and kiosks that remain idle, overlooked, and unused.
