Drastic action necessary to tackle violent crime

I REFER to the recent reports regarding the kidnapping of a teenage girl and the violent machete attack at a shopping mall, both occuring in Seremban.

The city of Seremban has a long reputation of being one of the most pleasant, peaceful and safest cities in the country. As a life-long resident of Seremban, I can attest to this fact, but recent negative developments have instilled deep concern and fear among the people here.
