Steering MSMEs towards digital transformation

MALAYSIA has taken commendable steps in driving digital transformation through national strategies like the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint (MyDIGITAL) and the Malaysia AI Roadmap 2021–2025.

Through these initiatives, the government has introduced a range of incentives including grants, funding schemes, tax deductions, and advisory programmes to encourage digitalisation across industries, especially among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), which make up over 97% of businesses in the country.
