Promoting STEM A education

DATA from the Education Ministry shows that only 50.8% of students were enrolled in STEM streams in 2024, falling short of the targeted ratio of 60:40 set out in the Malaysia Education Blueprint (2013-2025).

Various initiatives are being undertaken to achieve this target, including a collaboration between the Education Ministry and Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (Mosti) to implement an initiative announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in July last year.
