Accelerate action to gender parity

MARCH 8 is International Women’s Day. The theme for this year’s celebration, “Accelerate Action”, emphasises the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality, as stated on the International Women’s Day website.

“It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres, unwavering quest for equal rights parity, empowerment of women and eradicating gender inequality.”
