Keep subsidy in 2025


MALAYSIANS are now aware of the possibility that the subsidy for RON95 fuel will be discontinued starting June 2025. Although the decision has not yet been finalised, the news is worrying many, particularly those within the B40 (lower income) and M40 (middle income) groups.

The question I want to pose is this: Is 2025 the right time to impose such a decision?
