IN recent months many in my neighbourhood – and in others too, I’m sure – have had our early mornings disrupted by loud noises, and sometimes the noise continues throughout the day.
It’s the street cleaners doing their job with noisy leaf blowers. It seems that the quiet days of simple sweeping with brooms are over in many areas, for whatever reason.
