Flaws in registration procedure

I REFER to the report on Dr Lu Yeow Yuen whose application to be registered on the National Specialist Register was rejected by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC), “He teaches neurosurgeons, but can’t be one in M’sia” (The Star, April 5).

I am compelled to share my own experiences with the regulatory processes of the MMC.
