THE news item on the tecoma blooms in Penang caught my attention, though not for the usual reasons (“Tecoma blooms making a beautiful comeback”, The Star, March 12; online at bit.ly/3TonDmN).
It is the warm season in Penang when there are many kinds of blooms emerging around us. The tecoma tree’s flowers are very eyecatching but they tend to overshadow many other flowers that come out during this season.
