THE Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) commissioned its first submarine, KD Tunku Abdul Rahman (pic), on Jan 27, 2009. This year marks the 15th anniversary of its service to the nation. Named after our first prime minister, the submarine took almost four years to build.
Our second submarine, KD Tun Razak, named after our second prime minister, was commissioned on Nov 5, 2009.
