Lesson in acceptance for teachers

I REFER to the report “Sabah teacher who body-shamed autistic boy reassigned, given counselling” (The Star, Jan 10).

According to the report, the teacher, from a school in Tuaran district, Sabah, faced public outcry after she inadvertently sent a text to a WhatsApp group that body-shamed an autistic child, badmouthed another parent and allegedly claimed she would torture that person’s child.
