MILLENNIALS (those born between 1981 and 1996) currently comprise a sizeable portion of Malaysia’s labour force.

A study published in October 2022 by Statista Research Department, a business data platform based in Hamburg, Germany, reported that 2.79 million Malaysians aged between 25 and 29 were employed in 2021. They comprised the largest age group in the labour force, followed by those in the 30- to 34-year range.
