Prioritise care and compassion in reforms


THE much-anticipated Health White Paper, which is expected to be tabled in Parliament next month, is a comprehensive proposal to revamp Malaysia’s healthcare system.

Whatever criticism it will invite or shortcomings it may have, it is important for Malaysia to undertake comprehensive reforms in healthcare as our society continues to transform dynamically, and to keep abreast of evolving geopolitics, the uncertain global economic environment and potential crisis of climate change.
