IF you haven’t heard yet, Malaysia has officially lauded the dogs that assisted in search and rescue operations at the landslide disaster in Batang Kali, Selangor, on Dec 16, 2022, as well as after the Feb 6, 2023, earthquake in Turkyie and Syria that caused such massive damage and loss of life.

At the Batang Kali landslide, the media highlighted how the search and rescue teams’ dogs worked themselves into exhaustion looking for survivors with their handlers.
