THE Consumers’ Association of Penang (CAP) urges the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry to resolve the supply shortage of chicken eggs immediately.

Most of the grocers and public market traders in Penang claim they have been facing difficulties getting their supply for the past two weeks, thus creating concern about a supply shortage in the future. Chicken eggs are the cheapest source of protein in the market.
