Therefore, the recent citizenship via naturalisation granted to football players Lee Tuck and Sergio Aguero is unconstitutional and should be declared invalid by a court of law. This is as clear as day.
Neither player has a Malaysian father. Both only came to Malaysia in 2017. Clearly, their five-year residence here falls significantly short of the requirement stated in Section 19(3) of the Constitution.
