Bukit Bintang’s loss is nation’s gain

I WAS happy to read the news that Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye has published his life story (Call Lee Lam Thye: Recalling a Lifetime of Service). I remember him fondly.

I lived in Bukit Bintang in the 1970s. It was a very lively place with so many people there, shopping, dining, viewing theatres and exhibitions, relaxing at cabarets and visiting the famous BB Park.
