KUDOS to the government for reverting to the earlier rail transport policy. One problem that has plagued the country for years is the policy changes that happen whenever there is a change of leadership in the government.
It would be okay for bad policies, but the concern is that even good policies have been sacrificed. We have seen how a good policy like the Goods and Services Tax (GST) was scrapped, using the poor excuse that it had led to price hikes. This proved to be unfounded, and now there is a rethink on bringing back the GST.
