THE arts, culture and heritage sector has been one of the worst-affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and has had a huge adverse impact on the lives of the people involved in the local music and entertainment industry.

The past two years have seen the cancellation of concerts, events, gigs and almost a total closure of the entertainment industry. People in the industry have made every effort to find some alternative sources of income to continue to survive in the midst of the global economic downturn due to the Covid-19 pandemic that is still plaguing our country.
