Let us know which test kit brands are reliable

ON top of the recent cases of fake Covid-19 vaccination certificates, there are now claims that some Covid-19 rapid antigen test kits (RTK) are giving false results. This is disturbing and demands quick action from the Medical Device Authority to reassure the public.

Accounts of such experiences are appearing on social media, one of which is from a woman who decided to do a self-test before going to work as she was exhibiting some symptoms of infection. The result was negative, but she did another one. It was also negative. Not convinced of the accuracy of both results, she visited a clinic for a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test. The result was positive.
