Overly crammed 2021 SPM timetable

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with Dr Sharifah Saeedah Syed Mohamed who expressed her concern at the way subject exam papers are crammed together in the recently announced SPM 2021 timetable for March 2022. In her letter, “Packed SPM 2021 a matter of concern” (The Star, Nov 20; online at bit.ly/star_packed), Dr Sharifah Saeedah rightly called for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob to intervene in this cruel treatment of our children.

I now repeat this urgent and important request. There is still time for the PM to abolish this crammed timetable and set up a new committee to prepare a more sensible timetable.
