Malaysia Cup matches clash with Deepavali eve

Once again, the Malaysia Football League have overlooked that there are also Indian football players in the league. And that we in Malaysia celebrate Deepavali which falls on Nov 4.

A few years ago, the Malaysia Cup Final was held one day after Deepavali. Reason: No suitable time to have the final due to national team preparation.

This year again, the MFL forgot about the Deepavali holiday.

Four matches will be played on the eve of Deepavali at 9pm:

Sarawak vs KL City

Penang vs Pahang

Kuching vs Selangor

Terengganu vs Perak

MFL overlooked? Forgot that Deepavali is on Nov 4?
I would suggest that matches on Oct 30 be played on Oct 29, so that matches on Nov 3 can be played Nov 2.

Hope that MFL will be more alert about Deepavali.

Almost every year, the same thing happens.
Thank you.
