A PANEL conversation titled “Gearing Digitalisation and Automation” was held recently by the Malaysian German Chamber of Industry (MGCI) and Confexhub. The focus of the discourse was to deliberate on the pace of digitalisation and adoption of automation in Malaysia.

There is concern that the pace of digitalisation is not progressing as planned despite recognising the urgency of digitalisation, as demonstrated during the Covid-19 pandemic in the significant jump in e-commerce by small businesses and use of online education.
