Poor planning leads to poor execution at PPV

I AM among the millions of Klang Valley residents who have been vaccinated against Covid-19. Having already had my first jab at one of the mega vaccination centres (PPV) in Shah Alam in mid-July, I thought I knew what to expect when I went for my second appointment last week.

But I was wrong. The line of vehicles and crowds of people that greeted me were shocking. Traffic slowed to a near-halt at least 1.5km from the centre, and hundreds of people were lined up from outside the entrance of the carpark right up to the doors of the vaccination hall.
