THE case of Pua Ah Tee, “A dream come true, finally” (The Star, May 4), who got his citizenship papers after 20 years of trying raises both hope and questions.
It raises hope for an estimated 290,000 others caught in a similar situation. Among the questions that this case raises is why it took so long to grant Pua what was his legitimate right.
