Request for patent still waiting to be processed

I SUBMITTED an application for patent for two of my innovations to the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) in 2016. Till today, I have not received the patent yet.

Among the reasons given to me to explain the delay in issuing the patent were MyIPO does not have the right people to scrutinise the innovations; MyIPO wanted more time to process the application; and there were many other applications before mine that also needed to be processed.
