Fee for money orders had not been revised for 30 years

POS Malaysia refers to the letter by A. Nathan, “Why the price increase?” (The Star, Jan 19; online at bit.ly/star_postal) regarding money order fees.

For more than 30 years, Pos Malaysia has been charging a flat fee of RM2 for each money order purchased. Beginning Jan 1,2021, the money order fee was revised to adjust for increased costs related to the service. More information on the money order fee revision is available on our website at pos.com.my.
