Teachers are doing their best

FOR the past few weeks, I have read a myriad posts on social media platforms complaining that teachers nowadays are getting paid a hefty salary for not doing much work.

As a teacher myself, I have also long heard painful remarks like “teachers are so free”, “I wish I can be a teacher to enjoy my holidays”, “teachers are paid for doing nothing” and so on. I’m sure most teachers have heard such hurtful statements.
