Use membrane tech against pollution

IT is the same story again. The operation of two water treatment plants has to be stopped because of another river pollution incident. The stoppage will again disrupt water supply to thousands of households in the Klang Valley. Businesses that rely on a consistent supply of water will also be affected. They will no doubt be cursing the authorities again for this repeat performance following the previous incident just one month ago.

The Environment and Water Ministry will again bear the brunt of the ire of the people. There is no doubt that social media will be filled with questions about why we are always reacting rather than getting to the root cause to solve the problem.
