Do not smoke out your soul


REFERRING to the letter “Plain packaging does not work” (The Star, July 21), plain packaging is one key action within the multitude of strategies required to reduce the prevalence of smoking in Malaysia.

It is undeniable that smoking tobacco products is harmful to us in many ways. The question is, how do we get this message to our community? Our government is doing its best to protect both the smokers and non-smokers from the negative health impacts of this habit or addiction.
