I AM writing to express my frustration with our Malaysian Immigration Department. I desperately and urgently need their approval letter to go to Singapore to visit my terminally ill brother, who is warded in a Singapore hospital. He is critically ill.
There is no information regarding procedures to leave Malaysia in the department’s website. Calling the phone numbers listed is useless as they either go unanswered or go to recorded messages. I have sent several emails to email@example.com with attachments (my passport and a letter from the Singapore hospital) last week.
Yesterday, I received the approval to enter Singapore and will have to pay for a Covid-19 test as well as a Stay Home Notice facility within three days. I am in a dilemma as I cannot proceed with the payments unless I have obtained approval to leave for Singapore from the Malaysian immigration. Can anyone help, please?
