THE issue of drunk drivers causing road accidents and even the death of other motorists or pedestrians is not new in Malaysia. There have been many such incidents over the years, and when they happen the same thing always arises: a call for the implementation of tougher laws.
I, however, beg to differ because I am of the view that what is lacking is strict and regular enforcement. No matter how tough our laws are, it is pointless if there is no enforcement.
