NEWS about the 10-year sentence imposed on an accused person by the Kuching Sessions Court on 10 charges under Section 298A Penal Code and Section 223 of the Communications and Multimedia Act truly shocked me.

As a lawyer, I have handled criminal cases for years and I know that there have been sentences imposed in cases of armed robbery, corruption, drug possession, assault, even culpable homicide and rape that were much lower than this.
