THE letter “Obstacles to medical specialisation” (The Star, Feb 25) highlights a number of concerns that are stated by many of those involved in Malaysian postgraduate medical training.
Understandably, the writer is unaware of some of the solutions that are currently being pursued jointly by the universities, Health Ministry and Education Ministry, including the establishment of a national training programme governed by a National Postgraduate Medical Training Curriculum.
