ACCORDING to recent media reports, tonnes of plastic waste have been imported into Malaysia for the purpose of recycling. This shows that recycling is a big business in this country.
There are many other similar recycling initiatives prevalent in Malaysia. Importing reconditioned cars and selling them as newly registered ones is a form of recycling.
