LAST week, Thailand became the first country in South-East Asia to legalise the use of medicinal marijuana. This move is expected to open the door for Thailand to participate in the multi-billion dollar medicinal marijuana industry.
Since marijuana, or cannabis, seems have some medical benefits, and, consequently, also comes with promising commercial value, its legalisation appears to be a sensible choice.
