PIL project warrants careful study

I REFER to the deluge of feedback and concerns over the Pan-Island Link 1 (PIL 1) road project to connect Gurney Drive with Lebuhraya Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu leading to the Bayan Lepas FTZ area.

We cannot fault the detractors when the project entails building tunnels that would cut through hills and viaducts that would destroy the jungle. There are also valid concerns when the evergreen Youth Park is designated as the interchange to enter the tunnel system.
