SUCCESSFUL candidates in the 14th General Election would go on to become members of parliament or assemblymen who would be heavily involved in formulating the laws of the land, governing the nation and representing our country.
So, political parties need to consider whether their candidates would be able to perform these duties and have the right demeanour to debate in parliament or their state assembly in a positive manner.
