Do more to save lives

KEMAMAN, 23 Dis -- Keadaan bas express yang hangus terbakar selepas bertembung dengan sebuah kereta yang turut mengorbankan empat sekeluarga dalam kemalangan jalan raya di sini, hari ini. I AM writing this letter to discuss the safety of express bus passengers. I hope The Star will continue to highlight this issue until the government takes firm action to protect passengers.

Every time there is an accident involving an express bus, much is said about the need to enhance the safety of the passengers but then, after some time, nothing happens. The issue is forgotten until another accident happens again.
