Struggle for divorced mums to get child support


REFERRING to the letter “Review efforts to help women” (The Star, Nov 17), I totally agree with the writer’s suggestion that more needs to be done to help women in need.

Reading the news about the “Monster mum” who has since been jailed a total of 150 years for pimping her underage daughters, I feel that more than anything she needs help to sort out her life and her daughters’ too. I am not making excuses for her act, however.
