Almost fooled by a scammer


RECENTLY, I received a call supposedly from a magistrate’s court in Alor Setar, Kedah, informing me that I had to appear in court at 10 that morning.

I was paralysed with fear, and the caller made it worse by saying that I had a court subpoena. I told the caller I was in Seremban and that it was impossible for me to be in court at Alor Setar immediately.
