Some doctors need better bedside manners

I AM utterly disappointed with the way some doctors/surgeons break bad news to patients and their relatives.

My friend’s relative, whose heart is not in a good condition, was told by a surgeon that “half of his heart is already dead”. The choice of words he used pierced the patient’s heart like a dagger. Whether the doctor knew it or not, the patient also has depression.
