Monitoring the MACC

THE Complaints Committee is part of the MACC check-and-balance mechanism as prescribed in Section 15 (1) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009.

Thus, the Complaints Committee plays its role in ensuring that the MACC executes its functions, particularly in overseeing the conduct of its officers. In other words, the Complaints Committee looks into complaints of misconduct lodged against MACC officers.
