Restore old rest houses

IT is sad and shocking that it has taken almost 10 years for the authorities to finally decide to restore The Gap Rest House, the gateway to Fraser’s Hill.

Tourists and nature lovers who have watched this relic of Malaysian heritage deteriorate through the years can only despair at the lack of political will to preserve Malaysian heritage and to promote the precious assets that can contribute to Malaysian tourism.
