Sanity check on trust deficit


I REFER to Wong Chun Wai’s comment “Sanity check on the economy” and the accompanying reports on the state of Malaysia’s economy (The Star, Nov 4).

Indeed, we have to examine whether the Government is justified in its confidence with the strong economic fundamentals and if most Malaysians are unjustified in their general lack of trust in the assertion that all is well with the economy and socio-political environment.
