I SHARE the concern expressed by Dr. A. Soorian on the danger posed by discarded plastic bags, “Plastic bags are killing the turtles” (The Star, Oct 17).
These bags eventually end up in landfills, rivers, lakes and oceans and are a serious threat to public health, wild and marine life.
