I READ with concern the report about the typhoid outbreak in Kuala Lumpur, “Typhoid on the rise in KL” (The Star, Oct 20).
There has been a spike in the number of typhoid fever cases in Kuala Lumpur with 32 cases reported since August. As the Health Ministry has yet to identify the source of the infection, more cases are expected to be reported.
