AS a medical officer attached to the emergency department of a district hospital, I have noticed a rise in the number of people visiting our emergency unit even though their condition is not considered life-threatening.
I find it difficult to provide public health education to “cold” cases as they refuse to listen and they sometimes even retaliate in anger.
