WE are disappointed to note the outright misrepresentation and misleading report made by Yasmin Ramlan in The Malaysian Insider (TMI), “Sundry shop owners in debt after Tukar programme turns hope into loss” (Aug 24).
Right off the bat, the writer falsely accused the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry of failing to respond to requests by TMI.
